To enable responsible adoption of AI services in our solution, Carrot maintains a posture that treats AI as advisory in nature, requiring human validation to ensure AI does not autonomously execute materially impactful decisions.

- We use data science and machine learning internally within our own infrastructure, governed by the same privacy standards as everything we do
- Most of our AI features work by sending secure requests to AI models and receiving responses in real time — they don’t retain member data
- In select cases, we work with AI partners to adapt models; these serve only Carrot and operate under BAAs, and don't feed back into the vendor's general product
- Member data is never used to train external models
